Satyendra Singh Lohia, a para-swimmer from Madhya Pradesh, has become the first para-swimmer globally to conquer the English Channel for the third time. The 39-year-old completed the gruelling solo crossing from the UK to France in 20 hours and 21 minutes, battling strong winds and rough seas despite a 70% disability from the waist down. Lohia's remarkable achievement adds to his legacy of overcoming significant challenges in open-water swimming. He drew strength from his disability and the support of his fans and coaches to achieve this new benchmark.
