Village headman hacked to death in Sahibganj

A 39-year-old village headman, Guhia Pahariya, was allegedly hacked to death with an axe in Sahibganj district on Friday evening. The incident occurred at Navgachhi Pahar, where the deceased had been living with his family. Villagers apprehended the alleged attacker, identified as 35-year-old Chekro Pahariya from the same village, and handed him over to the police. The motive behind the murder is currently under investigation, with authorities examining all possibilities. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination.

साहिबगंज में कुल्हाड़ी से काटकर मुखिया की हत्या

शुक्रवार शाम को साहिबगंज जिले में 39 वर्षीय मुखिया गुहिया पहरिया की कुल्हाड़ी से काटकर कथित तौर पर हत्या कर दी गई। यह घटना नवगछी पहाड़ पर हुई, जहाँ मृतक अपने परिवार के साथ रह रहा था। ग्रामीणों ने कथित हमलावर, जिसकी पहचान उसी गाँव के 35 वर्षीय चेकरो पहरिया के रूप में हुई है, को पकड़ लिया और पुलिस को सौंप दिया। हत्या के पीछे के मकसद की वर्तमान में जाँच की जा रही है, और अधिकारी सभी संभावनाओं की जाँच कर रहे हैं। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया।
