Delhi-NCR GRAP Rules: BS Emission Standards, Not Age, Will Decide Car Entry

Delhi-NCR's revised Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) has introduced new restrictions on vehicles to combat winter air pollution. Under Stage III of GRAP, which is invoked when the AQI reaches 401-450, strict limitations will be imposed on BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel light motor vehicles. These restrictions apply not only in Delhi but also in Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

दिल्ली-एनसीआर के संशोधित ग्रेडेड रिस्पांस एक्शन प्लान (GRAP) ने सर्दियों में वायु प्रदूषण से लड़ने के लिए वाहनों पर नए प्रतिबंध लगाए हैं। GRAP के स्टेज III के तहत, जब AQI 401-450 तक पहुँच जाता है, तो BS-III पेट्रोल और BS-IV डीजल लाइट मोटर वाहनों पर सख्त सीमाएँ लगाई जाएंगी। ये प्रतिबंध न केवल दिल्ली में बल्कि गुरुग्राम, फरीदाबाद, सोनीपत, गाजियाबाद और गौतम बुद्ध नगर में भी लागू होंगे।
