New Zealand A secured a first-innings lead against India A on Day 3 of their second unofficial Test in Christchurch. Despite strong bowling performances from Mukesh Kumar (five wickets) and Mohammed Siraj (four wickets), the hosts' lower order batted resiliently to reach 424. India A's openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan, then navigated a tricky final hour to finish on an unbeaten stand, reducing the deficit to 46 runs. The visitors will aim to quickly erase the remaining deficit on the final day.
