सरकार यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) के कुछ ट्रांजैक्शन पर मर्चेंट डिस्काउंट रेट (MDR) लगाने का प्लान बना रही है। खबरों के मुताबिक, यह MDR 40 बेसिस पॉइंट तक हो सकता है। इस पैसे का सबसे बड़ा हिस्सा बैंकों को मिलेगा। इससे व्यापारियों के लिए डिजिटल पेमेंट महंगा हो सकता है और UPI से जुड़े वित्तीय संस्थानों के कमाई के तरीके भी बदल सकते हैं।
