India, Kazakhstan Begin Joint Counter-Terrorism Exercise KAZIND

A 60-member Indian Armed Forces contingent has departed for Kazakhstan to participate in the ninth edition of the India-Kazakhstan Joint Military Exercise KAZIND. The exercise, scheduled from September 28 to October 11, aims to enhance interoperability and strengthen capabilities for joint counter-terrorism operations under a UN mandate. Troops will engage in drills involving responses to terrorist attacks and simulated threats in semi-urban and mountainous terrain. This collaboration is expected to deepen military ties and reinforce commitment to regional peace and security.

भारत के सशस्त्र बलों का 60 सदस्यों का दल कजाकिस्तान के लिए रवाना हो गया है। वे भारत-कजाकिस्तान संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास KAZIND के नौवें संस्करण में हिस्सा लेंगे। यह अभ्यास 28 सितंबर से 11 अक्टूबर तक चलेगा। इसका मकसद संयुक्त आतंकवाद-रोधी अभियानों के लिए आपसी तालमेल और क्षमता को बढ़ाना है, जो एक UN जनादेश के तहत होंगे। सैनिक आतंकवादी हमलों और अर्ध-शहरी व पहाड़ी इलाकों में नकली खतरों से निपटने के अभ्यास करेंगे। इस सहयोग से सैन्य संबंध और गहरे होने की उम्मीद है और क्षेत्रीय शांति व सुरक्षा के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता मजबूत होगी।
