US House Passes Bill To Sanction Russia

The US House of Representatives has passed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act with a 262-159 vote. This legislation grants the US President authority to impose up to 100% tariffs on imports from the top five global buyers of Russian crude oil and natural gas. The Trade Representative will review these nations every 180 days. Imports by the EU and certain materials by the US are exempted.
