Organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and All India Students Association (AISA), the demonstration condemned what protesters called "right-wing goons" issuing death threats and harassing women. AISA vice-president Shairik Sengupta criticised the Delhi Police's actions, questioning the protection offered. Protesters expressed shame that such incidents occurred during a festive period, urging the Karnataka government to ensure its inquiry into police high-handedness leads to concrete action.
