RBI Forms Financial Markets Consultative Panel Headed By Dy Governor Rohit Jain

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has established a Technical Consultative Committee for Financial Markets (TCCFM), led by Deputy Governor Rohit Jain. This committee aims to foster structured engagement with market participants on policy and operational matters concerning money, government securities, and foreign exchange markets. It will also address derivative markets and infrastructure, examining issues related to efficiency, liquidity, and resilience. The panel includes external experts from banking, markets, academia, and market infrastructure to identify measures for deepening and broadening these crucial financial sectors.
