An air strike in Sudan's South Kordofan state has killed a driver for the WFP. The WFP stated that the targeted trucks were clearly marked as humanitarian vehicles carrying food aid. The convoy was travelling between two government-controlled cities when the attack occurred on Saturday. Fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has intensified in the region, making aid delivery increasingly dangerous. The WFP has called for an investigation into the incident.
