A man from West Bengal, identified as Mumtaz-ul-Malik, has been detained in Kalaburagi by central intelligence agencies and local police on suspicion of links with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). He was allegedly in contact with social media accounts linked to the Pakistan-based terrorist group and is suspected of sharing sensitive information. This incident follows a similar arrest last month and prompts Home Minister Priyank Kharge to urge employers to conduct background checks on workers from other states.
