Telangana's Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has urged the Centre to protect states' revenue interests during proposed GST reforms. He highlighted that Telangana could face an annual revenue loss exceeding ₹800 crore from changes related to motor vehicles alone. Mr. Bhatti emphasized that GST constitutes about 35% of Telangana's tax revenue, directly impacting essential services like schools and hospitals. He also called for stringent action against tax evasion, fake registrations, and misuse of identity details, advocating for a comprehensive examination of issues in the scrap sector.

तेलंगाना के उप मुख्यमंत्री और वित्त मंत्री, मल्लु भट्टी विक्रमार्क ने केंद्र से प्रस्तावित जीएसटी सुधारों के दौरान राज्यों के राजस्व हितों की रक्षा करने का आग्रह किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि अकेले मोटर वाहनों से संबंधित बदलावों से तेलंगाना को सालाना ₹800 करोड़ से अधिक का राजस्व नुकसान हो सकता है। श्री भट्टी ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि जीएसटी तेलंगाना के कर राजस्व का लगभग 35% है, जो सीधे स्कूलों और अस्पतालों जैसी आवश्यक सेवाओं को प्रभावित करता है। उन्होंने कर चोरी, फर्जी पंजीकरण और पहचान विवरण के दुरुपयोग के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का भी आह्वान किया, और कबाड़ क्षेत्र में मुद्दों की व्यापक जांच की वकालत की।
