Surat police have registered an FIR against a man accused of forging documents to claim tenant-farmer status over land worth crores belonging to the Surat Parsi Panchayat. The complaint alleges the accused used a deceased caretaker's will to substitute his name in tenancy proceedings. He allegedly fabricated an affidavit to establish his father's false connection to a farmer's family, securing a 7/12 extract to prove his farmer status. Investigators are examining allegations of forgery, cheating, and criminal conspiracy related to land records and subsequent property purchases.

सूरत पुलिस ने करोड़ों की ज़मीन पर किरायेदार-किसान का दर्जा पाने के लिए दस्तावेज़ों में हेरफेर करने के आरोपी एक व्यक्ति के खिलाफ़ FIR दर्ज की है। यह ज़मीन सूरत पारसी पंचायत की है। शिकायत में आरोप है कि आरोपी ने किरायेदारी की कार्यवाही में अपना नाम दर्ज कराने के लिए एक मृत देखभाल करने वाले की वसीयत का इस्तेमाल किया। उसने कथित तौर पर अपने पिता का एक किसान परिवार से झूठा संबंध स्थापित करने के लिए एक हलफ़नामा गढ़ा, जिससे किसान का दर्जा साबित करने के लिए 7/12 का अर्क प्राप्त किया जा सके।
