Farmers Leader Inaugurates Kittur Utsav; CM to Attend Closing

The Kittur Utsav in Belagavi district commenced today with farmers' leader Chukki Nanjundaswamy inaugurating the three-day festival. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is scheduled to attend the valedictory ceremony on Sunday. The event features discussions on the history of the battle of Kittur and Rani Channamma's rule, cultural programs, exhibitions, and sports. For the first time, a mega livestock fair showcasing indigenous and hybrid breeds will be organized, aiming to benefit farmers. The State government has released ₹2 crore for the Utsav, with plans for further development of Kittur's heritage sites.

किसान नेता ने किया कित्तूर उत्सव का उद्घाटन मुख्यमंत्री समापन समारोह में होंगे शामिल

बेलगावी जिले में कित्तूर उत्सव आज से शुरू हो गया है। किसान नेता चुक्की नंजुंडस्वामी ने तीन दिवसीय उत्सव का उद्घाटन किया। मुख्यमंत्री डी. के. शिवकुमार रविवार को समापन समारोह में शामिल होंगे। इस कार्यक्रम में कित्तूर की लड़ाई के इतिहास और रानी चन्नम्मा के शासन पर चर्चा, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, प्रदर्शनियां और खेल शामिल हैं। पहली बार, स्वदेशी और हाइब्रिड नस्लों को प्रदर्शित करने वाला एक मेगा पशु मेला आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसका उद्देश्य किसानों को लाभ पहुंचाना है। राज्य सरकार ने उत्सव के लिए ₹2 करोड़ जारी किए हैं, और कित्तूर के विरासत स्थलों के और विकास की योजनाएं हैं।
