CJP Leaders Released From Detention After Delhi Police Action

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) announced the release of its founder Abhijeet Dipke and leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das from preventive detention. Delhi Police had detained the three leaders at the Indira Gandhi International Airport after their flight from Mumbai landed. The detention occurred ahead of the party's planned 'Jantar Mantar 2.0' protest against the Chief Election Commissioner over alleged electoral roll irregularities. An executive magistrate ordered their release on Sunday, with the party stating police were forced to do so. The crackdown saw over 7,000 people detained nationwide.

कॉकक्रोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) ने अपने संस्थापक अभिजीत दीपके और नेताओं आशुतोष रांका और सौरभ दास की निवारक हिरासत से रिहाई की घोषणा की। दिल्ली पुलिस ने मुंबई से उड़ान भरने के बाद इंदिरा गांधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर तीनों नेताओं को हिरासत में लिया था। यह हिरासत कथित चुनावी रोल अनियमितताओं को लेकर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के खिलाफ पार्टी के नियोजित 'जंतर मंतर 2.0' विरोध प्रदर्शन से पहले हुई। एक कार्यकारी मजिस्ट्रेट ने रविवार को उनकी रिहाई का आदेश दिया, और पार्टी ने कहा कि पुलिस को ऐसा करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा। इस कार्रवाई में देशभर में 7,000 से अधिक लोगों को हिरासत में लिया गया था।
