The incident occurred during a match between Al-Taawoun and Neves’s side Al-Hilal in Buraydah, Saudi Arabia. Footage showed supporters chanting "Jota," prompting Neves to respond by pointing to his eye and the sky. Ronaldo stated that such behaviour is unacceptable and people should not be allowed in stadiums again.
