Karnataka's cabinet has approved the development of an international-standard film city near Mysuru. The project, estimated to cost Rs 729 crore, will be built on a public-private partnership model. Spanning 160 acres, it will feature state-of-the-art studios, post-production facilities, and diverse shooting sets. The film city aims to become a major film and entertainment hub, offering advanced technology and accommodation for film crews. Its strategic location near popular tourist destinations is expected to further boost filmmaking in the region.

कर्नाटक कैबिनेट ने मैसूर के पास एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के फिल्म सिटी के विकास को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में ₹729 करोड़ का अनुमानित खर्च आएगा और इसे पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप मॉडल पर बनाया जाएगा। 160 एकड़ में फैले इस फिल्म सिटी में अत्याधुनिक स्टूडियो, पोस्ट-प्रोडक्शन सुविधाएं और विभिन्न तरह के शूटिंग सेट होंगे। फिल्म सिटी का लक्ष्य एक बड़ा फिल्म और मनोरंजन हब बनना है, जो फिल्म क्रू के लिए उन्नत तकनीक और आवास की सुविधा देगा। लोकप्रिय पर्यटन स्थलों के पास इसकी रणनीतिक स्थिति से इस क्षेत्र में फिल्म निर्माण को और बढ़ावा मिलने की उम्मीद है।
