Pune Techie Harassed By Fraudster Posing As Cop Over Credit Card Dues

A 26-year-old software entrepreneur in Pune has filed a complaint alleging harassment by a fraudster impersonating a police constable. The accused repeatedly called the techie between and 19, demanding payment of Rs 1.6 lakh in credit card dues. During video calls, the suspect appeared in a police uniform, claiming a bank had filed a complaint and he was assigned to recover the amount. Police suspect the caller is a bank agent and are actively searching for him.

पुणे में 26 साल के एक सॉफ्टवेयर उद्यमी ने एक ठग के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई है, जो पुलिस कांस्टेबल बनकर उसे परेशान कर रहा था। आरोपी ने 19 बार टेक एक्सपर्ट को फोन करके क्रेडिट कार्ड के 1.6 लाख रुपये के बकाया का भुगतान करने की मांग की। वीडियो कॉल के दौरान, संदिग्ध पुलिस की वर्दी में दिखाई दिया और दावा किया कि एक बैंक ने शिकायत दर्ज कराई है और उसे यह राशि वसूलने का काम सौंपा गया है। पुलिस को शक है कि फोन करने वाला एक बैंक एजेंट है और उसकी तलाश सक्रिय रूप से की जा रही है।
