Delhi Police has urged Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke to cancel his proposed ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ march to Central Park in Connaught Place. Police cited prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and stated they would block entry points to Central Park. Dipke questioned the legality of unfolding the national flag during a livestreamed exchange. The march was announced amid a standoff over the arrest of two CJP spokespersons for trespassing at Jantar Mantar.
