LAC Stability Crucial for Normalising India-China Ties: EAM Jaishankar

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stated that stability along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is essential for normalising relations with China, warning that border disturbances will have consequences. He linked trade and investment expansion to peace and tranquillity in border areas, noting the situation has settled down since 2024. Jaishankar also highlighted significant economic issues, including a heavily tilted trade balance and lack of market access for Indian businesses in China.

विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने कहा कि चीन के साथ संबंधों को सामान्य बनाने के लिए वास्तविक नियंत्रण रेखा (एलएसी) पर स्थिरता ज़रूरी है, और उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि सीमा पर अशांति के परिणाम होंगे। उन्होंने सीमावर्ती इलाकों में शांति और स्थिरता के साथ व्यापार और निवेश में विस्तार को जोड़ा, और कहा कि 2024 के बाद से स्थिति सामान्य हो गई है। जयशंकर ने व्यापार संतुलन का भारी झुकाव और चीनी बाज़ारों में भारतीय व्यवसायों के लिए बाज़ार पहुँच की कमी सहित महत्वपूर्ण आर्थिक मुद्दों पर भी प्रकाश डाला।
