महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना के प्रमुख राज ठाकरे ने गैंगस्टर लॉरेंस बिश्नोई की कड़ी आलोचना की है। उन्होंने कहा कि बिश्नोई को जेल से बाहर निकालकर पीटा जाना चाहिए। ठाकरे ने सरकार की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और ऐसे लोगों से निपटने के तरीके पर सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने मौजूदा राजनीतिक माहौल और NEET परीक्षा के विरोध प्रदर्शनों पर भी चिंता जताई, यह सुझाव देते हुए कि ये व्यापक जन आक्रोश को दर्शाते हैं। ठाकरे ने आगे कहा कि चुनावों में EVM के बजाय मतपत्रों का इस्तेमाल किया जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि मौजूदा व्यवस्था में विश्वास की कमी है।
