The former administrator, Kusum Lata, challenged her December 2025 termination and the subsequent appointment of her successor before the Central Administrative Tribunal. The tribunal recently revoked the successor's appointment, leaving the centre's operations in limbo. This administrative vacuum exacerbates existing issues like inadequate infrastructure and staffing, impacting the crucial services offered to women in distress.
