The United States has not officially offered the F-35 fighter jet to India, according to Indian Air Force chief AP Singh. He made these remarks on the sidelines of the 'Tarang Shakti' multilateral air exercise in Rajasthan, where the F-35 is participating for the first time. Singh humorously noted that US personnel do not even allow close access to the aircraft. The Air Force chief also highlighted the IAF's evolution into a global air power since its inception in 1932 with just four aircraft.
