Al Jazeera · world

Israel's "Yellow Line" demarcation in Gaza is advancing, forcing Palestinian families to relocate repeatedly. Mahmoud Harzeen, a father of 10, is preparing for his sixth move as the line, initially part of an October 2025 ceasefire agreement, encroaches further into Gaza. Israeli forces now control approximately 65 percent of the territory, up from the agreed 53 percent. This constant shifting of boundaries, accompanied by shelling and gunfire, leaves displaced families with diminishing options for safety and shelter. The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant Palestinian casualties over the past year.
