Couple's Backyard Transforms Into Exotic Tropical Jungle
Times of India · lifestyle
A Newport couple's garden has transformed into a lush tropical jungle, starting with a single banana tree inspired by their travels. The garden now features exotic flowers, spiky foliage, and even poisonous plants. Their seven-year-old son, Arlo, is so familiar with the plants that he gives friends a "danger tour." The couple, Dave Robinson and Gemma Furby, began their gardening project in 2016, inspired by trips and the Eden Project. Milder winters and hotter summers have aided the plants' growth, with the couple advising thorough research before planting.
