J&K Issues Circular on Dignified Conduct After IAS Officer's Outburst

Following a video showing a senior IAS officer allegedly using abusive language against a subordinate during a virtual meeting, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued a circular. The directive mandates all officials to uphold the highest standards of integrity, discipline, and professionalism in their interactions. It emphasizes maintaining courtesy, mutual respect, and dignity, applicable to all levels of official communication. The circular also states that derogatory or inappropriate language and conduct inconsistent with the dignity of office must be avoided.

एक वीडियो सामने आने के बाद जिसमें एक वरिष्ठ IAS अधिकारी पर कथित तौर पर एक वर्चुअल मीटिंग के दौरान एक अधीनस्थ के खिलाफ अपमानजनक भाषा का इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप है, जम्मू और कश्मीर प्रशासन ने एक सर्कुलर जारी किया है। निर्देश में सभी अधिकारियों को अपने व्यवहार में सत्यनिष्ठा, अनुशासन और व्यावसायिकता के उच्चतम मानकों को बनाए रखने का आदेश दिया गया है। इसमें सभी स्तरों पर आधिकारिक संचार में शिष्टाचार, आपसी सम्मान और गरिमा बनाए रखने पर जोर दिया गया है। सर्कुलर में यह भी कहा गया है कि पद की गरिमा के विपरीत अपमानजनक या अनुचित भाषा और आचरण से बचना चाहिए।
