Jio Platforms Ranks Among Top 20 Global Patent Filers

Jio Platforms has entered the World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) global top 20 for international patent filings, climbing an impressive 320 places. The company has filed a total of 7,220 patents as of March 2026, with nearly two-thirds filed outside India. Jio is actively filing patents in the pre-6G space and developing its own satellite communications technology. This extensive patent portfolio, built by 12,000 engineers, has supported rapid network expansion and new service rollouts, including its 5G network and AI initiatives.

जियो प्लेटफॉर्म्स वर्ल्ड इंटेलेक्चुअल प्रॉपर्टी ऑर्गनाइजेशन (WIPO) की ग्लोबल टॉप 20 सूची में शामिल हो गई है, जो अंतरराष्ट्रीय पेटेंट फाइलिंग में 320 पायदान ऊपर चढ़ी है। कंपनी ने मार्च 2026 तक कुल 7,220 पेटेंट फाइल किए हैं, जिनमें से लगभग दो-तिहाई भारत के बाहर फाइल किए गए हैं। जियो प्री-6G स्पेस में सक्रिय रूप से पेटेंट फाइल कर रही है और अपनी सैटेलाइट कम्युनिकेशन टेक्नोलॉजी विकसित कर रही है। 12,000 इंजीनियरों द्वारा बनाए गए इस व्यापक पेटेंट पोर्टफोलियो ने इसके 5G नेटवर्क और AI पहलों सहित तेज नेटवर्क विस्तार और नई सेवाओं को लॉन्च करने में मदद की है।
