CBS News · world

Ukraine has reported significant disruptions to Elon Musk's Starshield network, a military-grade satellite service crucial for its drone warfare. The throttling reportedly caused drones to lose connection and fall from the sky, hindering Ukraine's ability to conduct missions. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy believes U.S. officials requested the slowdown, though Musk denies direct involvement, stating the U.S. government controls the network. As of Wednesday, Starlink remained throttled, impacting Ukraine's defense capabilities against Russian attacks.
