The Indian Coast Guard, in a joint operation with Gujarat ATS, seized 526 kg of methamphetamine and heroin valued at over ₹3,000 crore from an Iranian boat in the Arabian Sea. Five Pakistani nationals aboard the vessel were detained during the operation, which was conducted near Lakshadweep. The seized contraband and the boat were brought to Mumbai for further investigation. This significant seizure aims to disrupt international drug trafficking networks and prevent illicit substances from reaching the mainland.
