The Siang Indigenous Farmers' Forum Youth Wing has called for a boycott of an upcoming meeting convened by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu. The meeting aims to address concerns regarding the proposed 11,200 MW hydropower project in the Siang region. The forum demands the withdrawal of FIRs against anti-dam protesters and CAPF deployment, along with the release of those in custody and compensation for damages. They argue that dialogue is impossible while protesters are imprisoned and grievances remain unresolved, fearing impacts on traditional life and the environment.

सियांग इंडिजिनस फार्मर्स फोरम यूथ विंग ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री पेमा खांडू द्वारा बुलाई गई आगामी बैठक का बहिष्कार करने का आह्वान किया है। इस बैठक का उद्देश्य सियांग क्षेत्र में प्रस्तावित 11,200 मेगावाट की जलविद्युत परियोजना को लेकर चिंताओं को दूर करना है। फोरम ने बांध विरोधी प्रदर्शनकारियों के खिलाफ दर्ज एफआईआर और सीएपीएफ की तैनाती को वापस लेने, साथ ही हिरासत में लिए गए लोगों की रिहाई और नुकसान के मुआवजे की मांग की है। उनका तर्क है कि जब तक प्रदर्शनकारी जेल में हैं और शिकायतें अनसुलझी हैं, तब तक बातचीत असंभव है, और उन्हें पारंपरिक जीवन और पर्यावरण पर प्रभाव का डर है।
