CEA Flags US Ties, Energy, AI as Headwinds

He stressed the need for strategic buffers and foreign partnerships in AI. Nageswaran noted that US trade restrictions and sanctions could force countries to choose between blocs, impacting capital flows. He also highlighted rising bond yields in advanced economies and the weaponization of trade by various nations as challenges for emerging markets like India.

मुख्य आर्थिक सलाहकार वी. अनंत नागेश्वरन ने अमेरिका से अनिश्चित रिश्ते, ऊर्जा बाज़ार की अस्थिरता और भारत की AI में पिछड़ी स्थिति को नज़दीकी भविष्य की बड़ी चुनौतियाँ बताया। उन्होंने AI में रणनीतिक बफ़र और विदेशी साझेदारी की ज़रूरत पर ज़ोर दिया। नागेश्वरन ने कहा कि अमेरिका के व्यापार प्रतिबंधों से देशों को गुटों में से एक को चुनना पड़ सकता है, जिससे पूंजी प्रवाह प्रभावित होगा। उन्होंने विकसित देशों में बढ़ते बॉन्ड यील्ड और व्यापार को हथियार बनाने को भी भारत जैसी उभरती अर्थव्यवस्थाओं के लिए चुनौती बताया।
