Upasana Singh Alleges CINTAA's Rs 90 Lakh FDs Accessed Without Consent
Times of India · entertainment
Former CINTAA office-bearer Upasana Singh has alleged that the association's fixed deposits worth Rs 90 lakh were accessed and transferred without member consultation. Singh claims that CINTAA's accounts across five banks were frozen after the previous committee's dissolution, with instructions to remain so until a new committee took charge. She stated that the accounts were allegedly accessed and funds withdrawn before the new committee's legal status was established. Singh questioned the procedure, emphasizing that members should have been consulted before breaking the fixed deposits.
