Rima Das Discusses Village Rockstars 2 Release

Filmmaker Rima Das has spoken about the challenges and learnings from the theatrical release of her film Village Rockstars 2. The sequel to her Oscar-nominated 2017 film recently had a limited release in Assam on March 6, following its premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2024. Das cited the accidental death of singer Zubeen Garg and her own fatigue as reasons for the limited release.
