केरल हाई कोर्ट ने 2018 के शुहैब हत्या मामले में पहले तीन आरोपियों की ट्रायल ट्रांसफर करने की याचिका खारिज कर दी है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया था कि एक अभियोजन गवाह को सिखाया गया था और उन्होंने सवाल-जवाब के प्रारूप में सबूत मांगे थे, जिसे ट्रायल कोर्ट ने खारिज कर दिया था। हाई कोर्ट ने जज के फैसले में कोई कानूनी खामी नहीं पाई और कहा कि केवल एक गलत आदेश ट्रांसफर का आधार नहीं हो सकता। अदालत ने जोर देकर कहा कि जजों को निष्पक्ष रहना चाहिए और ट्रायल कोर्ट को सबूत फिर से खोलने और कार्यवाही में तेजी लाने का निर्देश दिया।
