Sebi Orders Avadhut Sathe Academy To Refund ₹546 Cr

Markets regulator Sebi has ordered Avadhut Sathe Trading Academy Pvt Ltd and its founder Avadhut Sathe to refund ₹546.17 crore collected from participants for unregistered investment advisory services. The regulator also imposed a total penalty of ₹11.5 crore on the academy, Sathe, and Gouri Avadhut Sathe for violating securities market regulations. The academy and Sathe are barred from the securities market for two years and must refund participants within five months. They also face fines for providing investment advice without registration and using misleading promotional claims.

मार्केट रेगुलेटर सेबी ने अवधूत साठे ट्रेडिंग एकेडमी प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और उसके संस्थापक अवधूत साठे को अनरजिस्टर्ड इन्वेस्टमेंट एडवाइजरी सेवाओं के लिए प्रतिभागियों से वसूले गए ₹546.17 करोड़ वापस करने का आदेश दिया है। रेगुलेटर ने एकेडमी, साठे और गौरी अवधूत साठे पर सिक्योरिटीज मार्केट नियमों के उल्लंघन के लिए कुल ₹11.5 करोड़ का जुर्माना भी लगाया है। एकेडमी और साठे को दो साल के लिए सिक्योरिटीज मार्केट से प्रतिबंधित कर दिया गया है और उन्हें पांच महीने के भीतर प्रतिभागियों को पैसा वापस करना होगा। उन पर बिना रजिस्ट्रेशन के निवेश सलाह देने और भ्रामक प्रचार दावों का इस्तेमाल करने के लिए भी जुर्माना लगाया गया है।
