Malappuram to Intensify HIV Screening Under National AIDS Control Programme

HIV testing services in Malappuram district are set to be intensified as part of the National AIDS Control Programme. This decision was made during a review meeting on Tuesday, October 13, to assess AIDS safety activities. The plan includes conducting tests in identified hotspots and enhancing HIV testing at private hospitals. The meeting was presided over by M. Peeyush Namboothiripad, Additional Director of the Health department, with participation from various health officials and project coordinators.

नेशनल एड्स कंट्रोल प्रोग्राम के तहत मलप्पुरम जिले में एचआईवी जांच सेवाओं को तेज किया जाएगा। यह फैसला मंगलवार, 13 अक्टूबर को एड्स सुरक्षा गतिविधियों का आकलन करने के लिए हुई एक समीक्षा बैठक में लिया गया। योजना में चिन्हित हॉटस्पॉट में जांच करना और निजी अस्पतालों में एचआईवी जांच बढ़ाना शामिल है। बैठक की अध्यक्षता स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अतिरिक्त निदेशक एम. पीयूष नम्बूथिरीपाद ने की, जिसमें विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों और परियोजना समन्वयकों ने भाग लिया।
