Neeraj Gupta, owner of Panambi Resort & Spa in Rishikesh, has gone missing under suspicious circumstances. His shoes were found near the Ganga river, and a five-page note mentioning suicide has been recovered from the resort, raising fears he may have drowned. Following a complaint from his wife alleging harassment over land and financial dealings, police have registered a case against two named individuals and others for abetment to suicide. SDRF teams are conducting a search operation in the Ganga river.
