The earth trembled twice in Uttarakhand today, with a 4.2 magnitude earthquake striking Northkashi at 8:08 PM. Earlier in the day, Bageshwar recorded a 2.8 magnitude tremor. This follows a 4.9 magnitude earthquake in Chamoli, which was also felt in Delhi and surrounding areas. The National Center for Seismology confirmed the Chamoli quake's epicenter was 13 km deep. These repeated seismic activities highlight ongoing geological instability in the region, causing concern among residents.

आज उत्तराखंड में धरती दो बार कांपी, रात 8:08 बजे उत्तरकाशी में 4.2 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया। दिन में पहले बागेश्वर में 2.8 तीव्रता का झटका दर्ज किया गया था। इससे पहले चमोली में 4.9 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था, जिसे दिल्ली और आसपास के इलाकों में भी महसूस किया गया था। नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी ने चमोली भूकंप के केंद्र की गहराई 13 किमी बताई। इन लगातार भूकंपीय गतिविधियों से क्षेत्र में भूगर्भीय अस्थिरता का पता चलता है, जिससे निवासियों में चिंता बढ़ गई है।
