Bihar Teachers Protest New University Affiliation, Demand Law Repeal

पटना के जेडी महिला कॉलेज के फैकल्टी सदस्यों ने माता सीता महिला विश्वविद्यालय के साथ प्रस्तावित संबद्धता का विरोध किया। उन्होंने बिहार विशेष विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम, 2026 को रद्द करने की मांग की। शिक्षकों को डर है कि इन बदलावों से उनकी वर्तमान सेवा शर्तों पर बुरा असर पड़ेगा और वे पाटलिपुत्र विश्वविद्यालय से ही जुड़े रहना चाहते हैं। लोक भवन की ओर मार्च के दौरान पुलिस ने कई प्रदर्शनकारियों को हिरासत में लिया। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि स्थिति नियंत्रण में है। फैकल्टी का विरोध नए विश्वविद्यालय से नहीं, बल्कि स्थानांतरण और रोजगार की शर्तों पर इसके संभावित प्रभावों से है।
