Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee stated that his party lost the Bengal elections to the Supreme Court, not the BJP. He alleged that the Election Commission did not implement the Supreme Court's directions regarding voter roll revisions and randomisation during counting. Banerjee claimed police officers were threatening voters with encounters. His comments were supported by party colleagues Mahua Moitra and Sagarika Ghosh. However, Bengal minister Dilip Ghosh urged Trinamool to accept the public's verdict.
