Talks between the Pakistani government and Imran Khan's PTI party have completely failed, with no agreement reached after a late-night meeting. Following this breakdown, PTI announced the commencement of its long march starting today. The government insisted PTI first cancel the march, while PTI demanded a meeting with jailed Imran Khan. A deadlock arose over PTI's disagreement with the federal government's counter-terrorism policy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The government warned that without cooperation on anti-terrorism policy, no further dialogue or political concessions would be granted.
