Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises, has been named a Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honour by French President Emmanuel Macron. This prestigious award recognises Mittal's significant contributions to strengthening economic ties between India and France, particularly in telecommunications and digital infrastructure. The insignia will be presented to him on October 28 at the French Embassy in New Delhi. Mittal expressed his honour, noting his long association with France since Airtel's inception in 1992.

भारती एंटरप्राइजेज के संस्थापक और चेयरमैन सुनील भारती मित्तल को फ्रांसीसी राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों ने नाइट ऑफ द नेशनल ऑर्डर ऑफ द लीजन ऑफ ऑनर से सम्मानित किया है। यह प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार भारत और फ्रांस के बीच, खासकर दूरसंचार और डिजिटल बुनियादी ढांचे में आर्थिक संबंधों को मजबूत करने में मित्तल के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान को मान्यता देता है। यह सम्मान उन्हें 28 अक्टूबर को नई दिल्ली में फ्रांसीसी दूतावास में प्रदान किया जाएगा। मित्तल ने इस सम्मान पर खुशी जाहिर की और 1992 में एयरटेल की शुरुआत के बाद से फ्रांस के साथ अपने लंबे जुड़ाव का उल्लेख किया।
