Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, whose real name is Jai Hemant Shroff, earned his famous moniker due to a peculiar childhood habit. He would bite like a small tiger when angry or pouncing on someone. His father, Jackie Shroff, started calling him 'Tiger' affectionately because of this behaviour. This nickname became so popular that when he entered the film industry, he adopted 'Tiger Shroff' as his permanent screen name. He also once adopted a tigress named 'Leela' from a Nagpur zoo.
