A medium-scale pujo in West Bengal can cost between 10 to 15 lakh rupees annually, with costs rising due to inflation. The pandal structure itself accounts for the largest portion of the budget, costing approximately 3 to 5 lakh rupees. In contrast, the central idol, a focal point for visitors, costs only about one-fifth of the pandal's expense, around 80,000 rupees.
