Persistent Systems Raises ₹7,600 Crore for Nagarro SE Acquisition

Persistent Systems has successfully raised ₹7,600 crore through non-convertible debentures to finalize its acquisition of Germany's Nagarro SE. The company issued bonds with tenures ranging from two to five years, attracting significant investment from mutual funds, NBFCs, and insurance companies. The total order book exceeded demand, reaching approximately ₹15,000 crore. This fundraising effort, along with a previous ₹4,264 crore QIP, ensures the deal will close imminently. The acquisition was initially announced in June.
