The Punjab Cabinet has approved the creation of 19 new posts within the Chief Election Commission to enhance its operational capacity. This decision aims to bolster the election commission's functioning by increasing its staff numbers. Additionally, the cabinet sanctioned amendments to the Punjab Nursing Services Rules, 2016, to accommodate newly established departments and previously recruited staff nurses. The government also decided to bring non-teaching employees under the purview of a society, mirroring a similar move for computer teachers.

पंजाब कैबिनेट ने मुख्य चुनाव आयोग के अंदर 19 नए पदों के निर्माण को मंजूरी दे दी है ताकि इसकी परिचालन क्षमता को बढ़ाया जा सके। इस निर्णय का उद्देश्य कर्मचारियों की संख्या बढ़ाकर चुनाव आयोग के कामकाज को मजबूत करना है। इसके अतिरिक्त, कैबिनेट ने नए स्थापित विभागों और पहले से भर्ती किए गए स्टाफ नर्सों को समायोजित करने के लिए पंजाब नर्सिंग सेवा नियम, 2016 में संशोधन को भी मंजूरी दी। सरकार ने कंप्यूटर शिक्षकों के लिए इसी तरह के कदम को दर्शाते हुए, गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारियों को एक समाज के दायरे में लाने का भी फैसला किया है।
