The Mysuru Hotel Owners’ Association has urged the State government to immediately withdraw the ₹8 per litre milk price hike. Association president C. Narayanagowda stated that the increase would further burden the already struggling hotel industry and eventually push up food prices for consumers. He highlighted that milk prices have already risen by nearly ₹17 per litre in the past three years. The association suggested direct subsidies for dairy farmers instead of price increases, emphasizing the need to balance the interests of farmers, the industry, and consumers.

मैसूर होटल ओनर्स एसोसिएशन ने राज्य सरकार से ₹8 प्रति लीटर दूध की कीमत में बढ़ोतरी को तुरंत वापस लेने का आग्रह किया है। एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष सी. नारायणगौड़ा ने कहा कि इस बढ़ोतरी से पहले से ही संघर्ष कर रहे होटल उद्योग पर और बोझ पड़ेगा और अंततः उपभोक्ताओं के लिए खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमतें बढ़ जाएंगी। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले तीन वर्षों में दूध की कीमतों में पहले ही लगभग ₹17 प्रति लीटर की वृद्धि हुई है। एसोसिएशन ने कीमत बढ़ाने के बजाय डेयरी किसानों के लिए सीधे सब्सिडी का सुझाव दिया, जिसमें किसानों, उद्योग और उपभोक्ताओं के हितों में संतुलन बनाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया गया।
