Speeding Car Kills Four During Religious Procession in Firozabad

Four people, including women and children, were killed and eight others injured when a speeding car collided with a group participating in a Teshu-Jhanjhi idol immersion procession in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. The district magistrate confirmed the vehicle has been seized and the driver and occupants are in custody. Preliminary reports suggest the driver may have been intoxicated, though a full investigation is underway. The administration is arranging medical treatment for the injured and seeking financial aid for the deceased's families from the Chief Minister's Office.
