Three Elephants Arrive in Shivamogga for Dasara Jamboo Savari

Three elephants designated to participate in the Shivamogga Dasara Jamboo Savari have arrived in the city. The elephants, named Sagar, Bahaddur, and Somanna, were transported from the Sakrebailu Elephant Camp. Sagar, a tusker, has previously carried the ceremonial howdah for six years, while Somanna is a new addition this year. The Shivamogga City Corporation has arranged for their accommodation and training, with sessions set to commence soon. The grand procession is scheduled to begin on October 21.
