Ex-Pakistan PM Khan Moved Back To Jail

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was returned to jail on Friday after undergoing court-ordered medical checks at a hospital. The Supreme Court had mandated his transfer to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad due to concerns over his health, following a petition by his lawyers. Khan and his wife were previously sentenced to 17 years in prison late last year.

पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान शुक्रवार को अस्पताल में कोर्ट के आदेश पर मेडिकल जांच कराने के बाद जेल वापस भेज दिए गए। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उनकी सेहत को लेकर चिंता के चलते उन्हें इस्लामाबाद के शिफा इंटरनेशनल हॉस्पिटल में शिफ्ट करने का आदेश दिया था। यह आदेश उनके वकीलों की याचिका पर आया था। पिछले साल के अंत में खान और उनकी पत्नी को 17 साल की जेल की सजा सुनाई गई थी।
